People tell me, “watercolor is the hardest medium,”
And I don’t know why.
Most of the time you just wet the paper—
And let the pigment do its thing!

I find it’s a relief to let go—
Go with the flow—
And just let the magic unfold.
..
Like a lot of life—
It’s more fun to loosen our grip of control,
And be open to serendipity.
